I saw her first in As You Like It in Boston. I think of it as being a long time ago, but apparently it was only 2003.

“Only 2003” because that date seems recent to me. It’s only when I do the math and think that the boy was just four – so I must have seen it with Carol, and according to the article, even though I remember seeing it at the Huntington, it was a coproduction with some other outfit, because the review says it was at the Wilbur instead.

I’m thinking about this because of this article (Rebecca Hall Redefines Stardom) and I think: This must be the same actress I saw, and yes, except she’s in a Godzilla movie and she’s 20 years older

It’s this: my ability to imagine time, durations. To tell people apart. To tell times apart. Everything is coalescing into the same thing.
